Beach Angel, aka Kate O’Brien, is a New Orleans based singer-songwriter and guitarist known for her unique blend of country, bluegrass, girl-grunge, and 90’s indie rock influences. Since launching her solo career in 2019, she has crafted a sound that blends heartfelt folk storytelling with the raw, energetic edge of rock. Her music reflects a deep love for songwriting, drawing from personal experiences and a wide array of musical inspirations. Whether performing solo or with a full band, her music consistently bridges the gap between sad girl-style poetry and a set you can dance to.

She has released a full length EP as well as several singles since 2019 and has a full-length album, “LoveBender No. 9” underway. She performs regularly in New Orleans with Her most recent accomplishment being a monthly residence at the world-famous Maple Leaf Bar.

Beach Angel has completed two Southwest tours in the past year in addition to making her debut appearance at larger festivals such as “Fete Du Void” and “Moonshadow” in Louisiana as well as “In A Jam Down By The River” in New Braunfels, TX.
